The CLDY team is responsible for founding and scaling up the Vodien group of companies, which include Vodien, SingHost, SingaporeHost, SGDomain, WebVisions, and IWI, up till its acquisition to Dreamscape Networks in 2017.

The Vodien group was the market leader in Singapore, with a 98.6% customer satisfaction rate, and a $30 million market valuation. Vodien saw more acquisitions in its future, with another acquisition and merger between Web.com and Endurance International Group, and is now part of Newfold Digital.

Founding CLDY in order to bring a renewed promise to provide a superior hosting experience, the team is focused on providing SME customers the very best in cloud hosting, email hosting, and web hosting solutions. The CLDY team brings over 100 years of specialised expertise in providing hosting solutions covering the very best in speed, stability, security, and support.

Dan Chen

Managing Director

Dan started off his career as a Technical Support Officer and went to become a Management Associate to learn everything about cloud hosting: sales, marketing, quality assurance, and infrastructure. After 15 years, he’s now risen to be the leading force behind CLDY to drive forward its mission to help bring customers on to the cloud.

Chris Chew

Director of Infrastructure

With over 35 years in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex server infrastructures, Chris is responsible for providing the speed, security, and stability that our clients enjoy while being at CLDY, ensuring optimal performance even under immense server loads.


Yuncheng Mao

Director of Software Services

Yuncheng handles the architecture, design, and implementation of the software services powering CLDY’s operations. With over 15 years of experience as a software engineer, he is able to create a user-friendly experience for CLDY’s clients to access and enjoy their services securely and reliably.

Alvin Poh


With over 20 years in the hosting industry and previously managing the growth of a team of 150, Alvin has seen the importance of driving organisational excellence. With this experience, his focus is for CLDY to boldly solve the pain-points and problems that customers face in the hosting space.

John Jervis Lee


Previously managing the operations for over 35,000 hosting customers, John has a keen eye for efficiency and systemisation. He brings a consistently high level of performance to CLDY, ensuring the organisation runs like a well-oiled machine to continually deliver the best results for its customers.
