We all know the importance of backing up our data. If you have stored sensitive information in a MySQL database, it’s important that you back it up so that it can be restored in case of any mishaps.<\/p>\n

If you haven’t set up automatic backups yet, here\u2019s how you can do so with phpMyAdmin.<\/p>\n

1. Log in to your cPanel.
\nIf you can\u2019t recall your cPanel login URL, you can simply use this template:
\nhttps:\/\/yourwebsitename.com:2083<\/span>
\nOr simply add :2083<\/strong> after your website URL.<\/p>\n

2. On your cPanel dashboard, go to Databases<\/strong> and click on phpMyAdmin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3. Select the database that will be creating a backup for.<\/p>\n

4. Click on Export<\/strong> at the top menu.<\/p>\n

5. For the export method, click on the Custom<\/strong> option. The Tables<\/em> section will show up at the lower portion of the screen, where you can select the tables you want to create a backup for.<\/p>\n

6. Under Output,<\/strong> click on the Compression<\/strong> dropdown box and select gzipped<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit Go<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
