Your emails may be sent directly to spam or the trash, and it can happen for many reasons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are a few things you can do to help avoid this situation:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Users with a domain under a GSuite or Google Workspace account:<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your domain administrator has access to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/1047213\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">24\/7 support<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Google (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/table\/3247295?hl=en-AU\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hours of operation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> may vary).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also go to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/toolbox.googleapps.com\/apps\/checkmx\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/toolbox.googleapps.com\/apps\/checkmx\/<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and enter your domain. It\u2019s a quick checker to see any improvements you can address to make sure that emails from your domain will always go through smoothly to your recipients.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Non GSuite users:<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>Affiliate Marketers<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have affiliate marketers that have been associated with spam, this can be a cause for your emails to be marked as spam, too.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monitor your affiliate marketers regularly and remove any partners that send spam emails.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Email Authentication<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your emails are authenticated, Gmail is less likely to tag your emails as spam.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To do so, set up either a SPF or DKIM record at your domain. If at least one of these records are not found from the sending domain, these messages will be either rejected or marked as spam in the recipient\u2019s inbox.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For more information in setting up an SPF record, click <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cldy.com\/support\/help\/how-to-set-up-an-spf-record\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Message Formatting<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your <\/span><b>From: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">header should only include one email address. Here\u2019s an example: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>From: <\/b><a href=\"mailto:info@yourwebsitename.com\"><b>info@yourwebsitename.com<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The subject of your email can be a tad vague to keep your recipient\u2019s interest, but should NEVER BE MISLEADING.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have links included in your email, they should be visible and be obvious to the readers what link they would be redirected to. (Go to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1ucDlzSyHNhgFnb58j5i9AqfEWJzfrFMY6kDlCXGX8wo\/edit#heading=h.gtup9uuec2ey\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">URLs \/ Links in your Email<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Possible Delivery Issues<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are using a third-party email marketing or automation service and your emails are not going through properly, best to contact your provider to make sure that they are aligned with Google\u2019s email delivery guidelines.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Subscribing and Unsubscribing<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make it easy for your mailing list to subscribe and unsubscribe.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There should be a prominent link where your recipients can opt in or opt out from receiving your messages.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Look into people on your list with bounced messages, or have not opened or read your emails and consider unsubscribing them from your end.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A one-click unsubscribe can be set up for Gmail recipients.
