What is more is that you can upload larger file sizes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s a comprehensive guide in setting up FTP Client:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What is FTP?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFTP\u201d means \u201cFile Transfer Protocol.\u201d It is basically a method of connecting two computers to each other in the most secure possible way to enable file transfer between two points or more. In this case, one of the \u201cpoints\u201d is the FTP Client you\u2019ve installed on your PC, and the other \u201cpoint\u201d is your CLDY web hosting space. Using FTP then allows file transfers directly between your PC and your CLDY server, and vice versa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How to Access Your FTP Account<\/h3>\n<p>1. Log in to your CLDY cPanel.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Usually, the cPanel Web Address can be navigated to through your domain, in this format:\n<ul>\n<li>https:\/\/yourdomain.com\/cpanel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2. Step to the next section to see how to do this.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>How to Create Your FTP Account<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before you start setting up FTP client and managing your files, you have to create an FTP account first. Here\u2019s how you do it:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>1. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the <\/span><b>FTP Accounts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> screen, you will see the <\/span><b>Add FTP Account<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> section up top. Specify the Directory where the files transferred via your FTP Account should land. Use your File Manager to create a directory address for you, if you need to.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6. Specify \u201cUnlimited\u201d for your \u201cQuota,\u201d if you don\u2019t want to encounter issues with file uploads.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">7. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are creating an FTP Account for another user in your organization and you want to constrain their uploads for any reason, specify their quota in the field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8. Use the newly-created FTP Account for the next steps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Setting Up and Configuring Your FTP Client<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>1.
