Making sure you have all your website and email files on backup is a must, so that whatever happens – may it be a sudden website crash or email error, you won\u2019t have to worry about how to recover everything. We showed you here how to backup your data using cPanel, let\u2019s see how you can have them restored:<\/span><\/p>\n

Using Backup Wizard<\/strong><\/h3>\n

1. From your cPanel dashboard, go to <\/span>Backup Wizard<\/b> under the <\/span>Files<\/span><\/i> block.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. You will now be directed to this page. Click <\/span>Restore<\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Next step is to select which data you will restore.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4. For this example, we have selected <\/span>Email Forwarders<\/span><\/i>. Click on <\/span>Choose File<\/b> to import the file or folder for your backup.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Once done, click on <\/span>Upload<\/b>. <\/span>A message will show up confirming that the backup is uploaded successfully and your <\/span>Email Forwarders<\/span><\/i> files have been restored.<\/span><\/p>\n

Using Backup (Manual)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

1. If you have a full backup file for your website and email information, this is the way to go. From the cPanel homepage, go to the <\/span>Files <\/span><\/i>block and click on <\/span>Backup<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. In this window, you have the option to do a <\/span>Full Account Backup<\/b>:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Or you can also do it individually:<\/span><\/p>\n

\nFor this example, we will also be going with <\/span>Email Forwarders<\/span><\/i>. <\/i><\/b>Under that selection, click on <\/span>Choose File<\/b> to retrieve the backup files or folder, then hit <\/span>Upload<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. A confirmation message will show up saying that your <\/span>Email Forwarders<\/span><\/i> files are successfully restored.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
